Rich Oroville history Lots of Chinese costumes and artifacts Not many know how many Chinese there used to be in Oroville
Great Family place to visit wonderful place to take someone visiting Oroville it tells about Oroville history. And the Chinese in building Oroville.
Very interesting buildings and artifacts. We went when they were having an open house with with tea and cookies. There are volunteers to help you. A lot of history about the early days in Oroville.

While not knowing anything about Chinese culture learned a lot about how they helped Oroville grow and what it was like for them and the people of Oroville in this period of time... Very informative docents....
This site is an excellent learning experience about Chinese culture in North-eastern California. Beautiful artifacts, amazing architecture, and important history.
It's decently maintained for a small town. With passionate and respectful docent. Enough original stuff. Nice courtyard. This museum beats major museums I saw in Indonesia's or most museums in Asia in terms of information. Could use some Chinese translation and try attract Chinese tourists.
Very unique museum exhibiting priceless antiquities. Although self guided a docent is always available. Well maintained.
