My husband and I had no idea that the Channel Islands Maritime Museum was in existence until we accidentally stumbled upon it. It is full of impressive displays and rich in history.

Very impressive exhibit of mostly older paintings of ships at sea some as early as the 1600's. An amazing collection of intricately built model sailing ships. Volunteer docents there to bring these collections to life.

The staff and docents were very friendly and generous with their time. The guided tours were helpful. The items in the museum are varied, and many are quite valuable/unique. Learn about seascape paintings, local maritime history, and see intricate model ships.
