Good times

Great place to gather with friends and the wines are good. The black moscato is really good. Im more of a sweet wine drinker and they have a couple good ones.

Had a great meal and the waiters were extremely helpful. Looking forward to going back. The restaurant is beautiful and the wine tasting was also amazing. Tried new wines you won't find elsewhere. The drive there was scenic and it wasn't so much of a bother. Of course my friend drove back...

Menu is a little overpriced for their steaks and chops. If they expect to get the prices they charge, which is on par with Morton's and Ruth Chris's, then they should offer comparable steaks in quality and size.

We stumbled on this winery when we tried our "kosher near me" app. We didn't end up eating at the restaurant but instead did a wine tasting. We had a lovely person help us (can't remember her name now unfortunately) and we ended up tasting a few extras since we were very interested in the sweet wine selection. It's in... More

We occasionally enjoy wine tastings and have found that we tend to go back to Herzog for the value and enjoyable and relaxing time. The wines they produce are generally nice and rather inexpensive The clubs that they offer are certainly worth looking at and possibly joining. They also have a restaurant attached to the facility that tends to be... More

This is in an office park with no charm. We went to the restaurant for dinner. We passed through the wine tasting room and shop - no prices listed on merchandise or tastings. There appeared to be a self guided tour on the way in. The meal was served in a dressed up warehouse setting - small room and capable... More

Herzog is probably the leading kosher wine producer in the US and almost certainly the biggest winery around Ventura, but it caters to anyone interested in wine. In Napa, Sonoma, Santa Ynez and Europe, I doubt you'll find a better presentation of winemaking. There's a walking tour that takes you by the production facility and barrel room and explains the... We met my family here for wine tasting and lunch. We arrived early so took the self-guided tour of the winery. They were not bottling while we were looking down on the facility but the signage describing the history of the company and their wine making processes was very interesting. There is a $10 charge for wine tasting. Six wines... More

We really enjoyed our tasting at Herzog Winery. The tasting is reasonably priced and is eliminated if you buy a bottle of wine. Our server was friendly and helpful and obviously interested in our having a good time. Not the setting I'm used to for a winery (compared to Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, etc.) but enjoyable if you find yourself... More

The service: The staffs are very knowledgeable about wines. When I spoke to them, I could tell they are all wine lovers! I have tried 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, Central Coast. Very easy to drink, fruity taste. Very refreshing! Will definitely visit the cellars and try out their wine tasting event soon.
