Herzog winery has a nice combination of self-guided tour for behind-the-scenes information, well-stocked gift shop, and friendly tasting bar. You either pay $6 for 4 tastings or waive the fee if you purchase a bottle of wine. We learned quite a bit from the tour,...More

I had never been to a winery that made kosher wine so the tour was particularly interesting as she pointed out which areas were limited to certain workers. Wine was okay. I did buy a dessert wine. Large retail area. Restaurants seemed popular place but...More

We had reservations at the restaurant there but came a little early so took the "self guided tour" upstairs. Well written story about the family and the wine making process. Didn't do any tastings but the store is lovely and nicely kept up.

The tour is self guided. The tasting is for as long as you wish. I would plan about 1:30 - 2:00 hours.
