Little spot to take young ones in the heart of downtown. Haven't been here in awhile but hoping more and more Oxnard families take advantage of this little gem by visiting and volunteering to make it even better.

I use to go to this museum and recently wanted to return to the museum. Does anybody know if the Gull Wings Children's Museum is closed permanently or if it will reopen?

The Gull Wings Children's Museum has closed it's location on W. Fourth St. They are looking for a new site where they will reopen a larger version of the museum

This place is just made for young children. We took three of them and they had a blast. It is a hands-on museum. The kids had a lot of fun!

This is a great place for kids to not only learn about sea life and space but also hands on experience as well. They have exotic animals like reptiles and spiders..you can walk on the moon and see what our astronauts experienced. There are also taverns where they can enjoy different rocks and minerals and fossils. There is so much... More

A little bit sad actually. Needs updating; kind of run down. Too many exhibits were outdated and had features that did not work.

This place is great for little kids. There’s lots of stuff to get their hands on. The girls loved putting their hands in the water and playing with the seaborne wildlife. They can touch everything and play to their hearts content. It is in a neighborhood, so parking is scarce right in front, but a block away is the free... More

Went on an early Saturday morning with 2 little boys (2 and 5 yrs) and managed to do most of the activities before lunch. It seemed more like many playrooms with options to learn on some activities rather than a traditional museum. At the front, there is a toy restaurant/kitchen, a place for some animal viewing (iguana/fish), and a makeshift... More

Great for little kids. Very hands on. They get to touch everything and play with it. Parking is difficult. It's very small, and it's definitely interactive for the parent and child
