This drive is a low speed, admire the view drive. There are plenty of pullouts to just park and enjoy the view. You can stop anywhere along the drive and get out to just sit on the beach or get your feet wet.

Nice area. A little crowded the closer you get to Monterey. Need more benches/tables/bbq pits/garbage cans.

Consider yourself lucky if you can find a place to park and watch the sunset. Pick any one of the little coves to explore and go tide-pooling.

A lovely place for a stroll along the water. The path is paved and has benches to rest on along the way, and you'll see seals basking on the beach.
