This was our go-to route going to and from Monterey to Pacific Grove. Sure there are other roads thru the cities; however, we took this road whenever possible. Great pull outs to allow traffic to pass to allow for the maximum view time.

We love staying in this area, whether it's renting a house or staying at one of the lovely B&B's in Pacific Grove, and walking along the beach trail at Oceanview Boulevard at dawn, especially, but any time is lovely. If I lived here, I'd be...More

A long walk and/or drive along the coast is a must for any visit to the area. We saw seals, monarchs, tide pools, and more.

Pacific Grove has a particular charm. The ocean walk has trails and the view of sea lions and sea otters is charming.

great enviroment, loved it. We walked along Oceanview Blvd. We ate, looked at old victorian homes, shopped, enjoyed great food and the weather was perfect.

We never tire of driving this winding road overlooking the seashore. True, it will get us to where we are going (other routes may be faster) but in such a pleasant, meandering pace which is an added benefit when we are on holiday, intent on...More
