I've been going to the Aquatic Centre whenever we are in Palm Desert. The YMCA offers water fitness classes, which are excellent. Love the deep water exercise and boot camps. Instructors are fantastic!

Well organised place, clean, with safe guards around. Different swimming pools for little ones, for kids and professional swimmers.

We loved this place. It was a great place to swim and bring toddlers. My kids can't swim and they had enough splash zones to be entertain. It is super clean. The locker rooms are clean and the pools are super attended. They have great life guards that are fully aware and alert. It is also affordable $6.50 for for... More

I enjoy when visiting the desert to get in a workout in the lap pool. Early morning it is setup as an olympic length and by mid morning the laps have been changed to the regular 25m length. The PD Aquatic Center has something for everyone: wade in pool, kids pool and slides, diving boards and concession stand. Affordable.

I am a resident of Indio and live about 6-7 miles from the Palm Desert Aquatic Center. While I personally don't use the facility, it's my go-to place to take my 10-year-old granddaughter when she visits in the summer. It has enough pools to allow for the different ages/swimming levels so that kids aren't on top of each other. Lifeguards... More

My son and I spent a few hours here during our recent visit to Palm Desert. There is a huge deep, 15 FT pool with high and low diving boards. Lots of lap swimming lanes as well as a shallow end for younger or beginner level swimmers. The water slide has 2 slides and not too long of a line.... More

The PD Aquatic Center is a great facility for lap swimming, for young kids to play or just to hang out. I like it because if your kids can't swim yet, they have a little "kiddie" area that is shallow and offers a few slides & water features. They offer swimming lessons for all ages & levels. They also have... More
