On a whim we decided we needed to be a bit more active after having taken the tramway ride and the Tahquitz Canyon seemed to be an easy/moderate hike. Glad we decided to be more active as the Tahquitz 'is home to a spectacular 60-foot...More

Be sure to watch the video before or after taking the hike to understand the legend. Hike is about 2 miles return and at the end you find a small but pretty waterfall. The hike is well marked and fairly easy.

This is a great hike. It is a loop with a waterfall at top of loop. It is not a hard hike but going is more uphill. The path is not paved so you need to climb up rocks and walk on uneven surfaces.

This is nice hike of about 2 miles that scrambles up a canyon to to a pretty 50 foot waterfall. Is it worth doing - yes. Is it worth $12.50 a person - no. They should offer a 2 day pass for $20 that allows...More

This canyon is owned and managed by the local Indian tribe. You will have to pay a fee to go in, but the money goes towards maintenance of the sight - it is really well cared for, with a visitors center, signage, good trails, and...More

Expensive at $12.50 per person, this hike is great if you have limited time. Overall a nice hike with a waterfall at the mid-point. The payoff for us was the small herd of Big Horn Sheep we encountered. WOW!

Not handicap accessible on the trail, but the visitors center is still worth going to!
