Knowledgeable staff; really helped us to find good vegetarian places to eat. Also told us about the fun night market and the weekend art show. Good place to buy tourist t-shirts, etc.

Be sure to go to the visitor center at the beginning of your trip to PS as they are excellent in helping you plan the most fabulous visit you'll have to the area. The staff are very knowledgeable and quick to make recommendations to what your interests might be. Also, check their web site....lots of things to do!!

I stopped in at the Palm Springs Visitor Center for the first time as I arrived in town on my last trip. I was interested in taking one of the canyon hikes. Plenty of parking, nice public restrooms, lots of literature on Palm Springs. The gentlemen up at the counter were very helpful, they gave me directions on a map... More

we loved this place through came into town the wrong way from the south so it was harder to find - it's up by the aerial tram towards Highway 10 and the giant windmills! the guys were great and gave us good recommendations for a self guided tour of the wonderful modernist buildings in PS with a $5 excellent map.... We received maps, directions, event schedules, and information on shops. Very friendly people and very helpful for us. We decided on the aerial tram because of the visit.

This is a great quick stop to pick up brochures to all the PS has to offer. But what I love is the building itself - a perfect 1970's throwback, and tribute to the Modernism reflected throughout the town. I felt like the Brady Bunch would pop out at any minute. Worth popping in and picking up some info about... More

A rather small visitor center. Staff was helpful, and there were maps and souveniors, but nothing special about it.

We stopped on our way into town and were happy with the information we received. It was interesting to see the pictures of the area from the past.
