Set in a beautiful building on Stanford’s campus. Saw a Warhol exhibit and the Rodin wing. Has the biggest Rodin museum collection with about 200 pieces about half of which were on display. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Very nice museum that we visited on the weekend. Toured the first floor in about an hour. Located near the quad and the Memorial Church.

A great collection housed in a wonderful building. The art is a nice mix of styles and mediums with nicely written descriptions of the artwork.

Part of the permanent collection, the Rodin garden and interior collections is worth the time. Stunning that an individual could amass such a collection. Only curiosity: only one bust of Camille Claudel, considering her impact on his art.

The Cantor Arts Center is a beautiful place to wander around. Personally, I love Rodin and the collection there is simply beautiful. There was a stunning exhibit of Contemporary Chinese paintings on display when we were there. A must see while visiting Palo Alto!

This and the nextdoor Anderson museum are amazing world class museums for free. Cantor has a fixed collection, and a visiting collection, while Anderson has a fixed but changing collection of modern art painting and sculpture. I can't recommend these enough. Outside of Cantor is...More
