If you are visiting Stanford Shopping Center, Sigona's Farmers Market is a must see. Over the years of living in Palo Alto and visiting the area, as we are on this occasion, I must admit there is an attraction (WOW factor )here that is undeniable. The first thing that makes an impression is the "fresh and appealing" presentation of the large selection of fresh Fruits, Vegetables and Flowers. Secondly, the selection of Cheeses and Wines is stunning. Normally, there are samples of the Cheeses offered...but not today. Perhaps the sampling is not done anymore...I just don't know, but we have purchased several Cheeses here and were never disappointed. Shopping at Sigona's, for the uninitiated can really be an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The eclectic selection of offerings can truly amaze in uniqueness, as well as, in the cost (the "value" factor here cost Sigona's the 5th Point). Another very "cool" thing about Sigona's is that they sell food made or produced by local sources. So expect, if you're visiting from outside of the area or state, to find something delicious and unique that you might want to take back home. On this visit(as on other visits prior) for it's uniqueness, in this Reviewer’s opinion, Sigona's Farmers Market in Stanford Shopping Center has earned this definite "recommend" 4 Point review.…

Signora Farmer's Market is at Stanford Shopping Center. I iike to go there as they have high quality produce and fruit. They also have good cheese, ollive oils, nuts, and a lot more. I always find something unique to try such as some of their bean salads. Staff is nice.

If you haven't been to Sigona's, you should check it out. I think it's the best produce on the Peninsula, competitive with Berkeley Bowl.

Mango, wine, cheese - fantastic selection. If you end up buying more than 30 dollars worth ask for the 1 cent wine. The tradition has been upheld at least 15 years already!

I love Sigona’s because you can visit, have fun checking out the fresh fruits and veggies, taste some artisanal cheeses, and grab lunch or dinner ingredients. From wine to olive oil, from snacks to pasta, cheeses and meats to desserts, Sigonas packs a big punch in a modest amount of space. Helpful Hints: when you are shopping at the Stanford Shooping Center, plan on stopping in to Sigona’s and but lunch, or snacks. Sigona’s has all the fixings for ainpromptu lunch or picnic: fresh breads, cheeses, meats, fruits, wine, very cool stuff. Parking is plentiful, but keep in mind this is a busy and popular shopping area. There is a small outdoor seating area, so you can nosh and relax.…
