All of the United States' robotic space exploration funnels through JPL. The spacecraft are conceived of, designed, and assembled here. The mission control teams are all here. The Deep Space Network of radio dishes in the US, Spain, and Australia are all controlled from here....More

Great place to tour inside and out. The gardens around the area are lovely with roaig deer. FUn tour.

Always worth taking a tour of this place. It has lots of history and lots of things to look at. If your a space buff definitely worth a trip.

The web site says that tours need to be scheduled 3 weeks in advance so not why you believe it to be 6 months unless it is because they usually get reserved about 6 months in advance. However, to answer your question about... More
