From the moment we arrived, we knew this was a special place! Not only were the employees helpful and quite knowledgeable, the wines are very good. We enjoyed an incredible cheese plate with our tasting, outside taking in the view.

So this really is the ultimate spot to relax with your significant other with a glass of Daou. The wine barrel chairs scattered through provide a very comfortable atmosphere. The grounds are immaculate and can be a bit pretentious but the wine advisors provide an opportunity to learn an taste their wines with a follow through of a light appetizer... More

Beautiful winery with spectacular views, but very overrated. The tasting fees are Napa level prices with nothing special about their wines. Wines were very forgettable and almost below the level I would expect from Paso. If the wines were spectacular, I could see spending those prices. They were just not worth it. The whole experience left a bad taste in... More

We had an amazing time at Daou! As a recommendation from a bar tender, this is a MUST SEE vineyard in Paso! The service was as amazing as the wine. Be sure to finish your visit sitting in their comfortable courtyard overlooking the spectacular views! Not to be missed!

The location is absolutely beautiful, 360 degree views from the top of the mountain. They serve food & during weekends reservations are probably a good idea, but we were able to get in on Saturday afternoon. It is a bit out of the way but really worth it.

Was not happy with the people at daou the last 2 times we went. Very rude and the employees there did not want to help us what so ever. As we walked out there were 2 other couples complaining about the same thing. I would never recommend this place.

I have been to many many wine tasting operations in many many different vinicultural areas, but this one is the BEST! Located high up above the valley the views are to die for and facility is beautiful. You are instantly transported to Tuscany. The wines are in a category of their own and everything the winery does is in support... More

Been to enough California wineries now to think this was a bit of a factory experience; knowledgeable server who knew about the wine and family that started the vineyard but little about production; no tour of the facility; just tasting which is held in nice bar area with tables/chairs around for those choosing to dine as well. Got to go... More
