The Daou tasting room is truly one of the best in Paso. Disclaimer, it is not the cheapest in the area, but you do get what you pay for. The tasting room is stunning with amazing views of the vineyards and the Paso valley. It takes your breath away. The wines are spectacular. I joined their wine club and have... More

We've tried many wineries in Paso Robles, and we were just shocked to find this one in such a quaint community. The view, beautiful....that's it. The wine tasting, $30, is over priced for the area. The unfortunate part of that, is the quality of wine. The wines made us feel like we we're in a facility that just over produced... More

Unbelievably busy on a Saturday in February. We had to park a mile or two away from the tasting room and catch a shuttle to the tasting room. Expensive wines and a high tasting fee for Paso Robles. Service was extremely slow in the very busy tasting room. A better option for my wife and I would have been to... More

This winery is a must visit. If you're not a member it will cost $30. But these are the best wine in Paso. So smooth and silky. Service is over the top. This winery knows how to make you feel like you're a member of the Trump family. Wines are high end.

My wife and I attended an event at Daou Vineyards and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wines and the high level of service. The event featured 5 red selections and 2 white selections. Each selection was paired with an app that complimented the wine. The pairings were well thought out and a delight to the palate. The... More

I used to love going here for the view and a nice glass of wine. Now you have to make a reservation and a whopping tasting fee. I love Paso sit has avoided the "Napa" mindset but this winery has it in spades. Even the local winemakers are making snide comments about this location audit's owners.

This is one of the loveliest wineries ever. They have a gorgeous outdoor area with beautiful gardens, pairs of chairs to relax, and breathtaking views. Be wary if it's cold or hot, it was 40 degrees by mid-afternoon. They offer a nice food menu. We opted for cheese plate and charcuterie which was great to pair with the wines. The... More

I give Daou the official #1 best view in Paso for wineries with Calcareous coming in #2. Some reviewers may complain about the tasting fees, and while they are the highest I saw in Paso, I believe they are worth the price of admission to see the wonderful Spanish/Mediterranean style tasting room/villa and amazing, spacious, relaxing views. At no time... More

WOW!! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a rave review of DAOU. Your descriptions of our Chemin De Fleur and Grenache Blanc are just AMAZING! On a previous trip, we just happened on Daou. This time we scheduled our visit around lunch time and made a reservation (which might not have been necessary on the day we were there). The food was just right -- small portions with a lot of attention to funding the wine that we wanted to pair with our selections. The... More

If you only visit one winery in the Paso Robles wine country, go here. The views are incredible, place is gorgeous and you won't want to leave. The food was happily, unexpectedly fabulous. Service and staff were nice and knowledgeable. Wine was good too...plan to stay awhile.
