My wife and I stopped in on our way to Pismo. We arrived and ordered our food around 1 pm. We finally had to track somebody down around 1:45 to ask about our food. It was delivered at 1:50 and all we ordered was an order of fish and chips. The dining room is an icebox so dress accordingly. We had 1 lemonade, 1 beer and we split fish and chips and the tab was $32.00 before tip. I won’t be back. Cheers!

Nice spacious brewery with great beer. You can order either through scanning a barcode on the table or at the bar. Either way, you get delicious beer served pretty quickly. And yes, the beer is delicious. Nothing like having an 805 on draft from the original brewhouse.
The merchandise on-site offers a variety to pick from and reasonably priced.
The food left something to be desired. I would suggest eating before attending. We had the poke nachos and mac & cheese, didn’t finish either plate. If it wasn’t for the food, would definitely be a near perfect experience.

What a huge disappointment. The worst (and most expensive) meal we had in a week of travel in the central coast. Service was abysmal (slow, inattentive, and uncaring). Food took 30 minutes to arrive despite only three other tables being occupied. When the food finally arrived, the fries were stone cold as were the fish tacos. The hamburger was more the size a slider. Save your money and go elsewhere.

This is my second visit to this brewery. Several years ago was a pleasant experience eating and drinking there. Yesterday’s visit was terrible. Ordered beers at the bar myself. That went ok. Then, at our table, ordered a pretzel on there ‘electronic menu system’. I’ve done this at lots of other restaurants and breweries and it works great. Not here. No food ever came. After a waitress was made aware of it, and suggesting we made a mistake, she finally put our order in. 45 minutes to get a pretzel. AND, they have the nerve to charge you extra to use their stupid electronic system. Any good restaurant would of comped the purchase because of their poor service. Never going there again

We decided to try Firestone Walker Brewing for a dinner! Bad choice. We arrived at 5pm and had to wait for a table inside. No worries there. We grabbed a beer and got a table inside the bar area within minutes. The beer was fantastic! We ordered from the table. We wanted to start with an appetizer. We ordered a pretzel. It took 33 minutes for it to get to us and when it arrived it was cold. They gave us another and it arrived Luke warm. We were so disappointed in that service we decided not even trying to order dinner. Not impressed.

We've always had Firestone Walker on our list of frequent places to visit when we're in Paso Robles. What a disappointment this visit. I totally understand the problems with staffing but just to be handed an tablet to place and order - they can do better. The food was non-descript and the beer (when you could get one) was just OK. It seems like they've lost their direction - new corporate management? My advice would to turn right and head to Tin City and visit Barrell House Brewing Company.

Went there for burgers and beers. I asked for a dark/stout beer and was told they were out. HMMMM... then saw an electronic sign for their anniversary ale and asked if I could have one. The waiter said sure, but its not dark. Yes, it is, it's a stout beer. Burgers and beer were good but staff needs better training. Kind of spendy as well and waiter never came back to ask us how things were until it was time to drop off the check. Probably won't be back, bummer as we were so excited to try this place.

We visited Firestone on a Monday evening for dinner. We were seated quickly, went to the counter to order. Food was served fairly quickly, we had 4 entrees and a appetizer. Two of the meals were underwhelming at best, the 3rd was overcooked and dry, the 4th, the burger was good. Go for the beer, see the place, but skip the restaurant, we will not be back.

It was a bit cold and we were sat outside but were moved inside when a table became available.
Easy ordering on their app/menu
Friendly staff
Good selection of beer and wine - I’m personally not a beer drinker but my friend said the beer was good. They offer affordable flights.
Nice selection of merchandise.
It was a nice stop - didn’t try my he food but looked like basic pub fare.

Had a really nice lunch on our way to Cambria. It’s easy to get to and they have a big patio for outdoor dining. I had the tri-tip sandwich and my wife had the fish tacos. I drank a excellent lager. Service was great.

I understand they offer beer tasting in the visitor center. Is the visitor center the same as the Tap Room restaurant?

No. But they are right next door to each other.
