A great, fairly new winery. The wine is sustainably grown, which I like, but I also like that they have a range of price points: some delicious, heavy duty reds, but also some wines for weekday nights! In addition to a Wine Club, they have a Lamb Club and a Beef Club, all sustainably grown on their nearby ranch. Also, nice people, friendly dogs!

We were treated to a private tasting with the winemaker - and it was an experience we will never forget! The wines are outstanding - so much so that we joined the wine club! Great find and can't wait to visit again! Thanks for such a special time! Many thanks to our driver, Mr. Bob Barker for arranging this tasting for us - you are the best!

We spent a fantastic tasting with Laird and Lisa, sitting out, looking at the picturesque green hills and 600 year old oak trees. We played fetch with their dog Arrow as we sipped on Zin and Cab and Petite Sirah. Wonderful wines and great hosts. We will return !!

We stopped here on a recommendation and because it was nearby another winery we visited. The location and ambiance were inspiring however we weren't a fan of the wines so much.

They have a very friendly black cat on site and he was honestly the best part. The pond was idyllic and the lawn was peaceful although in accessibile.

The wines were preselected for tasting so we were limited on choice. A couple of the wines were not described in the most palatable of ways and left a lot to be desired. (eg. 'aged in concrete' 🤔) I'm hoping because they are small that they are able to continue and progress in their wine making process.

The also had candles for sale of various pleasing scents.

We had the opportunity to taste Rangeland wines while in the barrel room at Denner Winery. We spent an hour with Paul the winemaker and his time and dedication to the profession is evident. Superb wines that should not be missed!

Rangeland is one of the newer wineries on the scene, but you have probably been drinking the wine made from its fruit for years. Rangeland supplies grapes to Justin, Vino Robles and others in the area, but that will come to an end before long and Rangeland will use all that fruit to fuel their own wines. Rangeland is pretty far out from town, but still only about 15 or 20 minutes to get there. After you have driven to the end of Adelaidia road, hang a left and you are almost there. The drive up is a little scary as you enter the property there is a one lane "paved" road up a steep hill, then there are two gates you must pass through and the final approach is just crushed concrete/dirt road. Rangeland is currently tasting out of the house of owners Laird and Lisa Foshay. They have plans to build a winery with a tasting room, but that will probably not happen until 2018. Currently you will be tasting on their back porch that overlooks hills and mountains. They have a flock of sheep and about 300 cattle. The sheep were grazing not far from us and they have a border collie that will play fetch with you as long as your arm holds up (added plus in my book). Laird poured our wines for us and was very friendly and approachable. He showed us pictures of mountain lions and bears that have come onto us property looking for some tasty sheep. The wines were all very good and very nicely priced (around $30 to $40. My favorite was the Mistletoe, a cab/syrah blend. We took home three bottles and I think he waived the $10 tasting fee. They also have ranch and vineyard tours, but we just went for the tasting. The visit took us about an hour - no rush just leisurely wine tasting. It was a great experience and even though it was the hardest to find/get to this trip that just makes a better story in the end. Go for the wine, go for the view, go for the adventure.

We really enjoyed the red blends and the prices for both tasting ($20) and bottles were very reasonable. A bucolic property - fun to sit outside. We would definitely go back.

.......AS MOST SHOULD BE (!!), we are trying to avoid processed meats and typical US wines full of crazy additives. What happens when you combine grass fed and finished, free range meats and natural, field crafted wines....??!?!....J & R Natural Meats and Rangeland Winery.......this business venture should hunt for a long long time.
Saddle up to some beautiful healthy reds and a grass fed and finished burgers +++.

My grandson and I thought the 2016 Zinfandel was very good. Other wines were just average. We did share a Charcuterie plate for $15, which was very good. We were able to set on one of their couches and have our wine poured while snacking on the salami and cheese, etc. Very good service. No problem with parking.

We really enjoyed our time at Rangeland Wines. Haley was very informative and fun to talk with in the tasting room. The owner, Laird had interesting stories to share. Arrow is the winery dog, and is such a good boy! Loves to chase sticks. The grounds are lovely and relaxing.
