This was a brief stop but I loved the uniqueness of the rocks on this beach. The tide was pretty high and so we did not see the tide pools but the sound from the crashing waves was very soothing!

Great beach and particularly good at low tide. Limited parking, but beach is very nice with clean sand and ample area to sit. Pebble beach is nearby too and a fun place to look for pebbles, although none can be removed.

This is an easy pull off from PHC (Highway 1). If the tide is low, you can walk along the beach and look for washed up treasures! During high tide, many of the beaches will be underwater. Recommendation: Get there at low tide, climb the embankment, and wait for the tide to come in. Peaceful!

You will really enjoy and appreciarpte your time at this spot just south of Pescadero along highway 1. It is a small stop and you walk along the beach or walk to the shore at "Pebble Beach" with 1,000s of small pebbles. Your kids will super enjoy the beach, pebbles and bubbly surf while climbing the rocks and sand. You... More

This beach is in Pescadero is a perfect distance for feeling like a true day getaway for Santa Cruzans and other bay area city dwellers alike. The south entrance to the beach park has a nice sandy beach in a small cove. Tide pools abound and there is a trail along the cliff that you can walk to take you... More

It's hard to go wrong with beaches in California along Highway 1. This is another great place to stop and walk the beach, wade in the water, watch a sunset or have a picnic. Worth a stop.

A very unique coastal wonder along the Pacific Coast Highway. A beautiful coastline of rocks with cavities worn by the wind and wave. The cavities are filled with pebbles that make up much of the beach. There are also substantial tidal pools where you can find all kinds of small marine life. This is not a beach for sunning but... We love this beach! It is quiet, has picnic tables, restrooms, and tide pools. We visit Bean Hollow and Pescadero on the same day. The rock formations are really interesting and it is fun to look for little critters in the tide pools. Easy access to the beach.
