Our tour guide was a retired teacher. We learned the story behind every animal living at Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue. Tours are Saturday 12 and 2. $15 adult, $10 for children. Children under 4 are free. Credit cards, checks and cash accepted. They also have birthday parties you can schedule for around $300. Some animals have been owned by irresponsible... More

I took a couple kids along to visit the wildlife rescue. You give a donation to take a guided tour and a volunteer, who is very informed, answers your questions. This place operates on donations only and that's what the entry fee pays for. Well worth it!

If you love animals please stop by here and consider adopting one. They all need loving homes to go home to! You can tell these animals are well cared for by the staff that works here. They truly love their job and love the animals.

This is a very good example of how animals live in the wild and a great way to experience how they are taken care of when injured.

On several occasions, this facility has given advice and/or taken in an animal for whom we had no resources for care. They are compassionate, kind, and committed to taking care of these helpless creatures. We love them.

You cannot see the world from the freeway. There are so many animals and birds and plants and forests to enjoy. Drive past pristine pastureland that is still family owned. Recommended you see what is being saved and protected from these area. They do an incredible job.

First of all, don't go expecting a traditional "zoo" experience. This is a place that rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. They (rightfully) don't take visitors in to see animals that they are working to re-release. The tours are Saturdays at 2pm (I believe they also do a noon tour during the summer) and the donation for the tour is... More

We found this place on Tripadvisor, which continues to prove to us the value of using Tripadvisor! This place does tours on Saturdays only, one at noon and one at 2PM during spring and summer. At 2PM only during fall and winter. The outdoor tour lasts about 40 - 45 minutes and is really quite interesting. On the day we... More
