We just had a one-night stopover in Pismo Beach on a bus tour from San Fran to LA and I'm so glad we stopped here! Enjoyed a stunning sunset as we walked from our hotel down to the pier. There were even two pelicans sitting along the pier posing for photos. Definitely recommend checking out the pier if you drive... More

A walk out to the end of the pier is always on tap with a visit to Pismo Beach. The surf is really great here and there are usually a lot of surfers to watch. There's also a lot of fishing action towards the end of the pier. It's currently closed during the rain storms and high waves, but will... More

Visited with 1 friend. The boardwalk was very spacious and a lot of walking room. They had picnic tables and we had lunch on the board walk. The beach was pretty clean and if you go a little north there are some small cliffs.

I took the time to walk around Pismo beach on 12/19/15. This is great for tourist shopping and the pier has great photo ops.

Really nice place to go and watch the sun set. Many things to see and a nice view of the beach. Close to restaurants and shops. Parking lot right there.

Right now during the holidays they have the Christmas tree lights set up at the end of the pier. Nice relaxing walk to make with the family. It does get a little sketchy after hours with some questionable people milling about. after a relaxing dinner downtown make a quick walk out to the pier for some fresh air.

Great place to visit. Park in three hour free zones away from pier and enjoy the walk to and from. Great beach fronted by bay. The pier is okay. Snack bar and fishing rod rentals. Extremely popular. Lots of restaurants nearby.
