We were leaving town and noticed this view point and stopped a few minutes to enjoy the rocks and the way the ocean eroded the local area.

Want an "uncrowded" area away from the Pismo Pier craziness? This is it! There is a narrow beach (stairway) which is okay at lower tides. The geology is interesting, as there are NW-trending tilted strata that stick out into the Pacific like ribs. There are...More

Want nice views with less people, traffic. Check out this place, short on parking but worth the stop. Walk along the top and view the ocean, tidepools and waves or climb down the stairs and walk on an almost secluded beach.
