Abel's Acres offers great variety in apple/fall products, including cider, apples, and other products for baking and cooking. Great to check out on the Apple Hill adventure. Highly recommend going during the weekday instead of the weekend, as weekends are very busy.

Food is surprisingly good, be aware of the yellow jackets. Thank goodness they have screened in individual patio seating. We shared with a nice couple. We also wanted our, so it was less expensive to share a whole pies between strangers. Nice to become friends!...More

Everything in this place is so much fun. I love coming here every year and just seeing everything that has changed and things that never change. All their food is delicious!

I love Abels! One of my favorite stops at Apple Hill. There are several different types of pies, covered apples, booths, pony rides, and shops. I bought a marionberry pie, and it was excellent. I highly recommend this stop up in Apple Hill.

Great pies. You can but a slice to eat while you are there, and buy a fresh or frozen pie to talk home. Unfortunately, I agree with some earlier comments on the negative side. This place, and Apple Hill in general, are becoming victims of...More

We have been visiting Abel's since we moved to El Dorado County in 1988. The fritters are my favorite, but other family members love their donuts. The eating area is nice, the vendors and activities during Apple Hill season are fun.
