A visit to this park can be peaceful or overwhelmingly overcrowded depending when you go. The weekends are jam packed with families and dogs. The bathrooms on the far end of the park suffer from the effects of fishermen…blood in the sink, toilets not flushed and garbage on the floor. I'm not sure how often they get cleaned, but not... I have read some reviews with less than kind remarks about this little park. I take my grandson there and we go swimming and we have never seen the oily mess that some claim to have seen. Yes there are some duck poop around but not a huge amount. This is just a byproduct of having wildlife. You have a... More

I have taken my grandchildren to the water slides there several times. Every one of them have enjoyed it. The slides are fun without being scared - great way for kids and adults to cool off a hot summer day in the valley. I look forward to taking the rides down too. Afterward we rest and play by the lake... More

Went here with kids on a Friday. TINY beach but not crowded since it was a weekday. Can't imagine being here on a hot weekend day. Paddle boards, petal boats...lots to do. If we lived closer, had younger kids (7 and younger) we'd be here during the week all the time!

The only reason I go here is to fish. I love catching trout at this spot and never go home empty handed. They have a great planting program here.

Don't go here expecting clean waters and a private beach. It will be covered in people, cooking and drinking, and we saw rats running along the fence in the water. Kinda gross. But the beach has sand and there is sun above ya, so if you are looking to just lay out and relax...not a terrible idea to do it... More
