A quaint, charming tasting room with access to a patio with a fabulous view. We agreed this would be the ideal place to have a combined tasting/picknic when the weather gets warmer. Interesting wines - we bought some Sangioveses - but service lacked in knowledge, the information recited from memory. Very nice and friendly company dog.

While this is one of the more outlying wineries it was definitely worth the drive. Excellent wines, and very friendly staff despite our group being a bit early for the BTCD event.

Picturesque, scenic spot to taste some fine wine and enjoy your picnic. This was the first winery on my daughter's first wine tasting tour - and the staff was so welcoming and inviting, helping a neophyte learn a bit about wine and wine tasting. The location, the scenery, the tasting experience make this a small but friendly winery a great place to visit. There are several places to have a picnic, relax and enjoy the good weather of the area.

Amador County continues to provide amazing wine offerings throughout the area. Story is my new favorite between the wine, awesome views and fantastic customer service you cannot go wrong here. We came on a Saturday afternoon with our friends from the Bay Area. Peter greeted us right away and suggested we sit at a table on the patio deck to get away from the noise. He was very prompt with each wine tasting pour and always had a "story" to go along with each bottle. The tasting room is rather small so if you do get the opportunity I'd recommend sitting outside and enjoying the awesome view. We will definitely be back to try more wines and more than likely join their wine club. Thanks for such a great experience!!

Winemaker Brian happened to be conducting a tasting (with hors d'oeuvres from Taste) the night we were there. It is lovely wine, especially the Primitivo. We ended up buying a mixed case and he brought it back that night and it was delivered to our room, so didn't go to the winery.
