The folks here really know their stuff. The wines are interesting, some only in very small badges and from old vines.

First time in Amador county sampling the local wineries. So many excellent choices, but I have to say Borjon was the best that we sampled. Everything was top notch. Thanks to Derek, at Andis (another great local winery) for the recommendation.

The wines are good and reasonably priced. The reasonable $5 tasting fee is waived with a bottle purchase. We bought Barbera Reposado ( $25) and Zinfandel Reposado ($25). They have quite an impressive Tequila display too!…

Tucked away as you pass through the Amador wine region, you will find Borjon, which houses some exceptional wines, from a high end cab to varying levels of Barbera. The wines are authentic and typically there is one wine at each winery I may not care for; however here, it’s a struggle to not find something enjoyable. They were sold out of a couple of wines, which is not quite a bad problem to have at all. Highly recommend!!!!…

Love this place; has three level of tasting available and can substitute out if you want to replace. All reds! ❤️ Great Mexican cafeteria style restaurant on the grounds with very tasty food and an outdoor seating area.
