Amador 360 is a fun and friendly place to start your Amador wine tasting with a nice sample of local producers. There is a nice selection of white and red wines. My favorite was the Fiddletown Cellars Barbara. Barbara is a signature varietal in Amador wine country, and the Fiddletown Barbara was my top rated one in two days of wine tasting.

This was our last stop on our Amador County weekend stay and it was a hit! We tasted ~12 wines of different types from various wineries and really enjoyed the diversity as well as the expertise of all of those serving and describing each wine. We learned more about the region's wine history, its recent growth and what's expected for the future. A very comfortable tasting room, plus shipping right onsite made it convenient and fun. If you enjoy wine it's a "must" stop!

This is a collective for wineries who don't have their own tasing rooms, this they offer lots of different wines. No hard sales pitch to join their wine club which I appreciated. $5 tasting fee which is waived if you buy a bottle.

A great stop if you really want to try wines from some great creators that don't have tasting rooms or that don't have one locally. Our host, Kristi, was super friendly and really knows her stuff. She's a riot. Fate wines is the current resident at the other tasting bar. Man, this guy had some great stuff. We had never heard of him or his product before but are certainly glad we did. Thomas has a lot of experience at a lot of different wineries and it shows in his excellent offerings. Of particular note on this day was the Proprietary Red. Frekin' amazing. Also great is the Fate Elixir. He has a lot of different wines available for purchase. We hope he makes it big in the local arena.

This would be a great stop just for the inventory from 20-plus wineries. It'd be a great stop just for the proprietor, Brian, who has legendary local knowledge. It'd be a great stop if it was perfectly located on Highway 49, just down the road from the main highway into the wine region. But wait - this place has all three. Brian has great ideas for just about any palate. I swing by every spring, and every time I leave with a mixed case that knock my friends' socks off.
