Not sure how this winery got so many good reviews?? We stopped in to have a taste and were greeted by a very "snooty" mask nazi. Her attitude was one of "I guess we can accommodate you! We did not feel welcome at all. We had to leave. Very unfortunate as we went further down the road where we were "more than welcomed" at Cooper and spent $200 (which we probably would have spent at our first stop.) Wilderotter is a beautifully appointed location/property, someone might want to check on the greeter that represents them upon arrival!!! She did not have a kind and welcoming spirit about her.…

I am so disappointed that this winery is not waiving the shipping fees like almost every other winery under the government issued "Stay At Home" order. They told me to come pick up my wine club order or they will charge me $30+ to ship. Unfortunately I can't cancel my wine club order either...but I definitely am cancelling it going forward.…

I would NOT recommend. Purchased two bottles of wine, declined the cheese plate and was still charged for two tastings, $7 each. And we didn’t even taste all of the wines! Wine was nowhere near as good as surrounding wineries. Will not go back. Don’t waste your time...there are so many wineries in Amador that are so much better.…
