During a three day visit to Amador County this was one of the few wineries we visited where we felt safe from mask-less virus spreaders. Distancing was excellent and staff were always masked. Tables and chairs were disinfected after each guest as were the restrooms. As others have mentioned, this is the place for Zinfandel and the selections, sourced from Amador/Shenandoah and other California vineyards, are endless. Staff that greeted us were very very friendly. We went to Turley last October and wished we had bought more wine. We have been to the Paso Robles location and now this location. I would say we rather enjoyed this location more than the Paso Robles one. We bought a couple bottles with some friends and brought back one with us. We didn't join the wine club when we were there and are kicking ourselves now. We tried to join now and are now on a wait list, but we know it will be worth the wait. …

Visited on a long-weekend celebration event which was quite festive and engaging - pop-up pasta and salad to accompany the wine, a folk singer in the background, a professional photographer to capture moments (in exchange for some Instagram promotion), a really passionate and knowledgeable staff member, a taste of some library wines, a lovely encounter with the local potter whose work is on sale, charcoal fires in the braziers, a stormy sky outside - just an excellent time and well worth the visit even without all the fun: the wines are all excellent!…
