This flower farm has a great variety. The staff was very helpful, especially Chloe. She looked up information for us and was cheerful and kind. The picnic area was shaded and a nice breezed made the 90 degree weather very pleasant. Signage could use an update. Be sure to get a map and decoder for the type of blooms and foliage.

We visited the flower farm today and everything was dormant but if you wait till spring the gardens will be beautiful. We had a gift certificate but today there was really nothing to buy. Going back in The spring.

Being a wine lover and a gardener, this became a must-do stop in Amador recently.
A fabulous selection of daylilles - all well marked and well described. A little pricey and all current season divisions in 6" containers but all healthy and accessible. Don't look for bargains or dig-your-own (hey, I'm a former Vermonter) but if you have specific colors, heights or dormancy requirements they are a great resource.
A very knowledgeable staff can point you accurately in the right direction. Only "down-the-road" from great wines too.

Day lilies galore! They don't have to be in bloom to see them, as the rows of bots along side the shop all have large photos with necessary information: flower size, height, sun requirement, bloom frequency, etc. The women were very knowledgeable and helped us pick out a few to buy. Will try to get back when it's prettier.

Certainly more than Daylillies, but that's what Amador Flower Farm is known for - fields and fields of colorful flowers with the Amador vineyards in the background make for an awesome place to visit. Picnic amongst the posies and like them SO MUCH....you'll want to purchase a few plants for your home. They also have a shop for all your gardening needs. Call in advance if you'd like to ask what is in bloom - there's always something blooming there!!

Yes!!!!! And lots of them! Over 1200 varieties of daylilies are grown here on our farm and available in pots (or bare root through our website). Thanks for the review!

If you are visiting Amador County for the wineries or interesting shops - don't miss a visit to the Flower Farm. It is located in the Shenandoah Valley right in the midst of all the fabulous wineries. I always send people there - it's lovely winding trails planted with daylilies and other beautiful foliage. Plus the gift shop is filled with such interesting garden oriented items. It is extremely well kept and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful grounds, and it's so wonderful being able to walk around them freely. They're thoughtfully laid out, with benches under the trees for shade, a very cute picnic area, and clean restrooms. Wonderful stop if you're in the area.
