What a fun place....walking trails....you can go down by the creek and explore for rocks etc. They have Picnik tables and a gathering area and a bathroom also....

This creek starts just below the Whiskeytown Dam, and goes into the Sacramento River. A fly-fishing dream, it is uncrowded, and rewards the angler with a true nature experience, and not many anglers, ever.

Living nearby has a lot of perks! The overlook view is fantastic especially at spawning time for the salmon! Listening to the rapids just above the parking lot is so relaxing. The picnic tables and grills provided for the public make family time so much...More

Pretty area with lots of walking trails. Nice for a Sunday walk. Clean bathrooms and very quiet. Interesting exercise pit stlps throughout the trail.
