This historic park houses the remains of Shasta City, alive and bustling in the Gold Rush days, and now a ghost town with restored stagecoach, barn and courthouse.

Great exhibit, nicely preserved and presented. Once a thriving town with a brewery and cemetery. Museum was not open, so check times if your interested in that feature.

I haven't been here in 20 years. Great memory from a child. Great history. Very inexpensive. Some children may find in boring.

Kids always love the jail. Wonderfully displayed courthouse, jail, and great gallery of art. There are lots of old time firearms and something for everyone. A Shasta county treasure

I love that this place is available to see how things were. From the jail cell to viewing the hair wreath you are reminded how people made due!
