Great food great music--- even better people that serve you. They will make you feel like family...It gives you a feel of being in the Cheers bar..It's where the locals go.

Friday evenings and Saturday evenings usually offer local musicians. I have been coming here for several years. Weekends are usually good music nights and the kitchen maybe open until 9pm. During the week, there are bar food specials and happy hour for drinks all at a fair price. No cover charge. Staff is friendly.

Joined my nephew and his girlfriend for a beer and dinner. The restaurant was quite as it was early Monday evening. The server was very friendly and openly made recommendations for a beer selection. All three of us chose to have the $10 draft beer and burger special offered on Mondays. For the three huge burgers with a side and... More

The Post Office in the Downtown Redding Mall I am sure is a place where all the locals go for spirits and good food. When my wife and I imbibed this would have been the place for us. It is like a trip to Universal Studios back lot. The Post Office is a cross between where the Maltese Falcon was... More

I dont go there too often, mainly because I forget it there. But everytime I do go there the experience is just terrific. They bring in all kinds of good music, a excellent variety to suit all us older folks. Jazz, Rock& Roll, Blues, and the list goes on. They even serve food too. But since Im so spoiled by... More

Hadn't been here in years so we thought that we would give it a shot and we weren't disappointed. The burgers were great and so was the service. Too many times when we buy burgers we end up throwing away the bottom bun because it is soaked in grease. That's not an issue here. If you want to rub elbows... More

This place was great lots of locals chatting it up. Great atmosphere, chicken club was good and beer was cold. Tom the bartender was great!

How fun to visit a vintage green decor saloon in an alley on St Patrick's day with authentic food and great, friendly service.

It may be a bit hard to find, tucked behind the parking structure off of California Street but if you want a small, intimate bar with some decent specials - this is it. They had music by a guitarist on the night we went - very nice. I was craving their big hamburger and was not disappointed. They have a... More

Who would think tucked behind the parking lot is this great little restaurant/ pub waiting for you to find it. Had the Post office burger, salad and tea today, 10 bucks, HUGE... the place is full of history, has a real nice menu, but the specials are killer, Spaghetti dinner for $6 bucks, and its really good, El-dente cooked pasta,...
