A pleasant walk!

We went here while in Redding on business. It was a nice walk and the arboretum next to it made for a nice Spring walk.

We enjoy walking across the bridge and checking out the river. Very peaceful. Sometimes we go into the cafe for a snack too.

This is a convenient must see when in Redding. The Bridge takes pedestrians across the river to the gardens. Both are popular spots, are beautifully designed and maintained.

Sundial Bridge spans the Sacramento River - we have been out to Sundial bridge in both Spring & Summer & it was an enjoyable walk with beautiful views - worth your time - take a picnic lunch or some $'s for the snack shop

This bridge is easy to find...just look skyward and you can meander your way over to this unique bridge. Looking down while crossing the bridge, you will have a chance to see different water fowl. I was amazed at all the clean up crews that abounded throughout the park. Due to the flooding from the two weeks before, there was... More

We were passing through Redding & needed a rest stop. This park was the ideal break. The bridge is super cool and the setting is ideal if you're looking for a break from the hustle & bustle. Lots of walking & bike trails, views of Sacramento River. There's a gift store, coffee shop & museum too. Ideal for all ages.

This bridge is known by architects all over the world for its design. It is a nice walk or bike ride over the river and around a paved trail. You can walk down under also. The sundial really keeps time. The Turtle Bay Park is good for young kids.

We flew into San Francisco and drove up the 101 Highway to as far as Redding with several stops such as Big Sur in between. It was an enjoyable trip and the beaches along the coast offered some pretty views of the Pacific Ocean. Didn't enjoy driving though the mountains at night.

I have been to the Sundial Bridge many times and I love to walk around here in the paths, sit on the benches, get a coffee from the cafe' and take in the sunshine!

We walked over the sundial bridge and the local park. Nice area to enjoy the Sacramento River and a neat architecturally designed bridge.
