Scheduled for completion in Summer 2004, this unusually designed bridge, functioning as a sundial at one end and conveying a sense of weightlessness, connects the north and south campuses of Turtle Bay Exploration Park.

If you are visiting Redding for the first time please don't miss the Sundial Bridge. It is truly superb. From the Sundial Bridge you can take the River Trail, Visit Turtle Bay or just set back and enjoy the view.

Lovely place for a quick stop right off the freeway. The surrounding park is gorgeous, and besides the amazing bridge itself, there are events and children’s activities.

There is a lot to do by the SunDial Bridge. Lot of different activities to do for adults and children. Love seeing the flowers and also the water views.

The best place to park and begin a walk along the Sacramento River Trail. Bring water and time to relax. The things you’ll see if you slow down.
