Very disappointed. Called to see if I could rent a space for 30 days in October but was told my 2007 trailer was too old. I was told it was a law that an RV must be under 10 years old. I have found with...More

The Sacramento River has several entry points for trails over several miles. I walk them regularly with my dog and love them all. We usually walk one to 3 hours. However, after the CARR Fire swept through this area a couple weeks ago, it burned...More

This river is your companion for many miles on Interstate 5. There is a lot to do around this river too. It is a fun river to interact with and easy to enjoy.

Gorgeous river right through Redding. Water is beautiful. Raft down the river by rental companies, great for kayaking, standup paddling, fishing, and dinner cruises.

AC is on of the most knowledgeable and friendly guides in Redding. He goes that extra mile to make sure your trip is enjoyable. If it wasn't for Anthony, my wife Susi, wouldn't have taken up fly fishing.

This river has two different looks. The first is the undimmed portion from Mt. Shasta toShasta Lake. It winds through undeveloped canyons, and is a favorite for fly fisherman. After the river leaves Lake Shasta, it is less wild, but still rapid. Perfect for rafting, kayaking and fishing....More

So it is a river, and one can view it from several bridges in Redding. However, for a quiet appreciation and a beautiful view, one might visit the Sundial bridge and view the river thence. Occasional boats and fishermen, vistas of mountains against the setting...More
