Many trails to choose from, all of which mostly flat and low impact. Doing a full circle around the outside comes out to somewhere between 3-4 miles, though there are many shortcuts in between if you're looking for something a bit shorter. Beautiful nature all...More

This large park used to be a dynamite factory. After many explosions it became a regional park with eucalyptus groves, meadows and (mostly flat) bay-front and inland trails. Picnic tables here and there, some basic out houses with more refined facilities at the parking area,...More

You can see 360 degrees. It was a clear day. Could see Golden Gate Bridge as well as port/train; Chevron refinery; the whole of Richmond. Gave me a better perspective of the area.

A large park with varied terrain - nothing strep, but hilly - forest, meadow and Bay views - great for biking, even a fishing pier. And very underused.

This large park is a paradise for walkers, bikers, picnickers and fishers, tucked out of the way against the San Francisco Bay in a semi-hidden location in Pinole. A large picnic area with play structures is near the park entrance, although you have to walk...More
