Myself and three buddies played the course. Good practice area. Confusing the way they starter gets you going. Course was in good shape and as always a challenging layout.

I love golf, I am an avid golfer, 200+ rounds a year, I am always looking for great golfing experiences....Whitney Oaks satisfied my adventurous spirit. We were taken in by the beauty and layout of the front 9 holes, thought we could really shoot some great golf on the back....then reality set in!! the back is a monster...and not having... More

Understood that it's Father's Day weekend but course should not let 3 players off in one cart with one set of clubs to share. This was promoted as a 'nice' course. 'Nice' courses don't lead to 5 hour + round. Course conditions were not impressive either as there was a fair amount of muddy spots and hard pan. One favorable... More

I've golfed here three times now, and each time it has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. They are set up as a part club and part public club, where the club members get a few more perks, but the best part is being able to play the challenging course for everyone, member or not! Lots of regulated wetlands through here,... More

I don't play golf BUT I DO use the on site restaurant which is open to the public. The views from the dining room and the outside patio area are just breathe taking. You can look out onto the lake and water fountain on hole number 18 and the course is so immaculately kept and really stunning. The food is... More

This is a great course.. very challenging... This is not a beginner's course.. There are short and loopholes.. water, hills, traps, trees... The greens can be tricky.. I prefer the back nine. They have nice homes through out the course as well. There are deals online as well.. Decent restaurant and bar. I will go back for sure.

This is a nice course. But the owner chose to close the facility. City permits for expansion w/added homes etc. were rejected. The City of Rocklin MAY decide to keep the water going. It is, after-all surrounded by already-there homes.

It does not seem that difficult, but I lost 4 balls the last time I played. It is a beautiful site though. I keep coming back for more.

I have played this course several times and it is a 'ball eater' for those of use not skilled golfers. We live on a ridge just about the Whitney Oaks Golf Club and it is a great view for us from our backyard. The restaurant and bar are good and we stop there frequently. Friendly and professional staff especially in... More

Great golf course but be conservative with your tee shots. The course is fairly tight driving but great greens. I would recommend playing with someone who is a member or plays the course often. The greens are always in great shape and roll pretty fast. This is not a course for a beginner as you will lose a lot of... More
