I love history and was the most excited out of my family to attend this historic park. In the end I think the whole family enjoyed their time at Sutter's fort. When in the area and have the time Sutter's Fort is worth a visit!

This is one of California's most historic sites. Best to visit on a Hands on History Day (3rd Saturday of the Month in most cases). Docents in period dress provide significant information and bring the fort to life.
