I grew up going here, came back and I’m mixed on it. The stores are still great. But I went on a Saturday night and it extremely crowded. They also now charge $10 to park after 3pm on Friday and Saturday.

Fun shops, multitude of restaurants, museums, horse drawn carriage rides - all within a few blocks of this historical location. The Train Museum is not to be missed! The Wells Fargo Museum also tells of this small neighborhoods role. Do not miss ‘Fanny Ann’s Saloon’!...More

Visited Old Sac for the 2nd time and wasn’t very impressed. Riddled with touristy shops and some mediocre restaurants. It’s not bad but just not great!

Be sure to stop by Fanny Annes and all the gift stores on the main street. Its my favorite place to go and kill some time on the weekend.

This is a one of a kind city within the city. Wooden sidewalks and history everywhere. However, watch your young children for uneven walkways and the homeless and plain scary types. And the tourists and locals can get a little dangerous after dark.

Lots of tourist shops and restaurants. The Delta Queen and the Railroad Museum were nice stops. Also a nice exhibit at the Wells Fargo.

It's cool how well preserved this place is, it really feels like an old western town. It's mostly candy shops and souvenirs shops but the buildings are cool, especially the saloon.

Yes. I would say so. Lots of outside space in bars and cafes. Very little traffic.

I like Firehouse for the seafood, but I guess it depends on what style you want. For a good pub-burger go to O’Malleys Irish pub.
