The stalls for street parking are too narrow. Use the parking structure. There are many restaurants, shops for useless stuff to clog your home, and pleasant river walks. On the day we visited, a street musician blasted unappealing music.

Old Sacramento is a very cute historical town. They have a playground and tons of cute old shops along the boardwalks. Highly recommend for a great day in Sacramento. It would take you all day just to go in every shop.

Visited with grandkids ages 10 and 13. We were disappointed that there was little to see or experience. Restaurant offerings (for lunch) was sparse. We settled on deli sandwiches and a salad--both of which were adequate but not delicious.

There were too many stores with nothing special. It was also not very wheelchair accessible. The best activity was tastings at the olive oil store.

Enjoyed on a Sunday when there are fewer people. Fun little area to walk, visit and shop. Looking forward to our next visit there.

You feel like you are in the past with buildings that look like they were built years ago. There are many shops and restaurants to shop or eat at.

Old Sacramento, love going through all the little shops. Plenty of places to eat. So historic, wooded walkways, old railroad depot, railroad museum, excellent.

Yes. I would say so. Lots of outside space in bars and cafes. Very little traffic.

I like Firehouse for the seafood, but I guess it depends on what style you want. For a good pub-burger go to O’Malleys Irish pub.
