This is a hidden gem in Sacramento. The museum has a large parking lit,and admission is only $10.00. The day we visit there were 3 or 4 docents available to tour you through the museum. I highly recommend using them. They have a great deal of knowledge that you will not get from reading placards. The tour goes from the... More

This was the best collection of the oldest cars you will ever see. Too much to take in quickly, and the quality of the restorations were impeccable, evenour teenager daughterswere in awe of these cars!

Decent collection of cars but building needs major overhaul as it leaks badly. On rainy day buckets were everywhere and parts of museum were closed because of water hazards. Signs were competent and some interesting cars and motorcycles on display. Not a large museum but worthy.

Great tour if your tour guide is a good speaker & knowledgeable. Otherwise it is a hundred or so old cars. Comfortable stroll & reasonable cost. If you're interested in museum specimens & vehicle evolution, a pleasant way to spend a few hours.

I visited the California Automobile Museum today. It is called the Automobile Musuem but please know they have a great collection of motorcycles. I like the pickup's and flatbeds. Still, one of the best in my view was the Lincoln that A. P. Gianni, the founder of B of A used in the 1930's what beautiful automobile.

We went on the guided tour, with Don....a wealth of information about the cars, the industry and the players. I liked hearing which cars ran, which didn't, and how the museum came to acquire them! Don was really good at explaining the different parts and how they operated - I'm no auto mechanic but he explained the different technologies very... More

This museum has a changing theme approximately twice a year. Last year was camping trailers, and this year it is motorcycles. Museum is very cold had a sweat shirt and beanie on! Many leaks in the roof and some cars have plastic on them. Docent's are plenty and they are helpful.

A great collection of cars and motorcycles from different eras. Pre-1900s up. There is a banquet room for parties or meetings. The collections keep changing so you'll never know what new cars are there. They even have an area where cars are being sold. I liked the cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s, more from my time. The museum... More

We attended a private party here and were amazed at all the cars they have! The selection through the years is incredible. A great place to visit just for what they have here!
