Great day for a zoo visit in Sacramento. Animals are a few, but what could be seen was enjoyable. Very clean! Small and quaint zoo. Great for families with kids. Reasonably priced. Cafe/food on-site.

Very clean and lots to see. Giraffes are amazing and you can get very close. Reptile pavilion is a great place to see lots of different types of snakes.

I combined the ticket with Fairy tale Land; I have a 4 y/o grandson. we had a nice afternoon at both the Fairy Tale land and the zoo. I nice slow stroll through the zoo is a leisurely fun afternoon with kids.

I saw two assistance dogs there when we last visited. Check with the zoo anyway.
