The park has many, many types of flowers and trees. It is interesting walking through and discovering. The Firemen’s Memorial and war memorials are very well created. Nice time just just walking through or sitting n a bench

Lots of shady trees and photo spots outside the Capitol. Stopped by later in the day, which allowed quick entry into the Capitol through security. Beautiful building inside and out. Tags were used to types of trees on the grounds.

The Capitol Park is free to walk around and enjoy all the different types of trees, and most of them are labeled. We enjoyed a pleasant sunny day before our tour of the Capitol building.
