Sattui Winery is a family-owned property located in the heart of Napa Valley, which was founded in 1885 and makes more than 60 different wines with dozens of 90+ point rated wines among its current vintages. My wife and I stopped here for lunch while wine tasting in Sonoma. Could not believe the grounds, they had picnic tables spread out and bocce courts. Inside they had just an amazing selection of cheeses not to mention all the fresh food choices from salads, pastas, wraps and on and on. It made for a great lunch in a... More

There was a barbeque in progress so it was crowded but parking was adequate. We tasted in the cellar and as usual the wine was great. It is such a beautiful building that just looking it over takes a while. The deli had duck pate and assorted cheeses as well as picnic supplies and salads. Picnic areas are lovely. The... More

I'm not a big wine guy, so I can't tell you that the wine is any better than any other winery in the Napa Valley. But I can tell you that won't find a better place to have a great day in wine country than V.Sattui. The resason is the picnic area out in the garden next to the winery.... More

We called and were lucky enough to get last minute reservations at their wine and pairing. The cost was $60 per person, which was a little high for what was included. The food and wine were fabulous - things I would not otherwise have tried but glad I did. The setting was beautiful. The food and wine pairing worked well.... More

We stopped here and discovered fabulous food, extremely pleasant staff and excellent wine. The place was very crowded but the staff made us feel welcome. Had it not been our last day in Napa we would have returned! I highly recommend this place!

Great place to have lunch, may too crowded for wine tasting. To be fair we went on a Monday at 2 pm so it was a lunch rush. Not one person who worked there talked to us and we could not get near the wine tasting bar. The food and wine however was delicious and we bought it all and took... More

We visited the Winery on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of people there and a great ambiance. They had a BBQ with different foods to pair the wines with. So I suggest Saturdays as the best day to visit the place unless you don't like large crowds. The facility has ample parking space and many people for customer service. The wines... More

We had a wonderful visit to V.Sattui! Our host, (I think it was Julie), was attentive, chatty and loved to talk about their wines. She was clearly VERY knowledgeable and generous with our tasting. We liked the wines so much that we bought a case and had it shipped. The grounds are really nice for a picnic and I recommend... More

I'm giving 5 stars for their location and layout of their winery and the value of their wine tasting and 3 stars for the actual wine. The winery is a great location directly off of the main highway with lots of green space for picnics and also a deli/food shop for people to buy food while they enjoy their wine.... More
