HALL Wines is a family-owned, critically acclaimed premier Napa Valley...

HALL Wines is a family-owned, critically acclaimed premier Napa Valley vineyard and winery with five estate vineyards of classic Bordeaux varietals. As a specialist in Cabernet Sauvignon, each vintage the winemaking staff crafts 15 distinct Cabernet blends which demonstrate the unique characteristics and diversity of the Napa Valley. Their highly rated wines have included the 2008 'Kathryn Hall' Cabernet Sauvignon selected as Wine Spectator's #2 wine in the world in 2011, the 2010 'Exzellenz' which received 100 points from Robert Parker in 2013, and the 2006 'Exzellenz' selected as Wine Enthusiast's #1 wine in the world in 2009. HALL's Napa Valley estate vineyards are Certified Organic and employ cutting-edge vineyard technology to yield the highest quality grapes. In addition, the HALL St. Helena winemaking facility was the first LEED(R) Gold Certified Winery in the State of California, making HALL Wines a pioneer in the use of green buildings in the wine industry. The site maintains one acre of solar panels on its roof and uses 100% recycled water throughout its processes. Each of HALL's spectacular winemaking facilities, HALL St. Helena and HALL Rutherford, showcases installations from the Hall family's extensive modern art collection.

We've watched the tasting room evolve from being in a small facility to a modern tasting room with spectacular views. The tasting room staff was professional and knowledgeable. Winemaker Steve Leveque does a great job of making elegant and well balanced wines. Visit their second label Walt off the Sonoma square.

OK, a disclaimer, I am a club member at Hall, so I like the place / I'm biased. My first visit was in 2014 (we're from Syracuse, NY) and I really appreciated that their sommelier Ryan Williams was able to spend time with me talking about wines. I was new to the fine wine experience and he made it a... More

Took my extended family to Hall St. Helena last week for a tasting using my club member benefits. Collin showed us an incredible time, and we tasted some wonderful wines. Best winery visit of trip by far. It made the rest of our day visiting wineries by bike more fun (and a little more challenging). #CRAZYGOODCABERNET

We were directed to visit this location by our resort Harvest Inn. No regrets at all. The grounds are wonderful and the art work inside is lovely and appealing. Our tasting host was Colin (UK). He was as gracious and well versed in the wines and the history. He did not rush us through to sign up as a wine... More

Had a group of 12 here for a wine tasting. Some impressive reds, the artwork was interesting and different. Our host Colin P. was great and be sure to check out the bathrooms.

Girls weekend and it was a rainy Saturday - the stop here was worth it. They had umbrellas and Mark was a great guide and took personal interest in sharing the Hall/Waltz story, history and more so getting to understand our likes, dislikes and needs. We've been wine club members since our last visit to Napa - they have superb... More

Expensive tasting even for Napa. $40 per person. Wines are very good but start at high end of the higher end vineyards. Service was ok even as it was busy but no personal attention. For the price it should have been more than pouring and passing by occasionally.

Thank R H
