Went to Napa to do a bit of wine tasting before a late lunch. Stopped in two wineries and because we didn't have reservations, had to move on. Stopped in Pestoni Winery, and was pleasantly greeted and served. We had the 'standard' tasting, and the $20 tasting fee was waived because we purchased some wine.

Our wine tour guide recommended this place since it was raining and we needed a covered picnic area to enjoy the food we had brought. We picked up wine tasting from here and were able to sit in the outdoors (but covered) picnic area where they had heat lamps as well. The wine itself was okay, good table wine but... More

Came here on the trolley. Did the wine tasting. The last wine was paired with a delicious chocolate sauce. We ended up buying the wine and the chocolate which waved our tasting fee. The building was pretty with ivy growing on the walls, but not much else to see here.

We have been going here for years. Always great service and wine. Ask to try the petite Sarah raspberry chocolate sauce that you can buy there. The Howell mountain cab is still my favorite.

What a great little spot! Taste some grapes, peek in the barrel room, grab a glass of something you like while tasting and walk out the side to the garden... You can finish your tasting later. There are plenty of Adirondack chairs to enjoy lunch in. Play done corn hole... Relax. They are growing some great stuff up on Howell... More

Small Winery, but they the wines were excellent. One of the few winery's in Napa, where, if you buy a bottle of their wines, you can have a picnic lunch in a most beautiful setting. Special kudos to Sarah for being so nice. It was so peaceful, we did that twice. Can't wait to receive our shipment of wines next... More

My wife and I heard the winery had excellent Sangiovese and the winery did not disappoint. The winery facility is fairly simple by Napa Valley standards but the tasting room is comfortable - stopping on a weekday, it was almost empty. We had an opportunity to enjoy their wines in a quiet, relaxed setting and left with several bottles of... More

This is a great stop if some in the group are on a tight budget and others want to splurge a little more as there are a few different wine tasting options. They have fantastic red wine but also make a Rose and Savy Blanc that pair very well with a picnic. Grounds are amazing and you will often see... More

We loved this vineyard. The picnic area is beautiful and open (and free, but buy a bottle darn it!!). The man who is at the counter (I can't believe I forgot his name) was super nice, helpful and knowledgeable. We WILL return for sure. Their sangiovese was lush and delicious.

This was the third stop of four on a day long vineyard tour of Napa. The vineyard is pretty, but with their side business of supplying natural compost from the byproducts of wine making, the smell outside was not so pleasant. The wine tasting room is spacious with comfortable seating, where our driver set up lunch while we tasted. Perhaps... More
