Overview
More
Tres Sabores ("three tastes") was founded in 1999 by winemaker and owner, Julie Johnson, to explore the 'three savory flavors' in every glass of wine: the taste of the vine, the terroir, and the good company around the table. The property is filled with growing history as olives and vines were planted here over a century ago. Today, the farm is a certified organic (CCOF) grower of Cabernet, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Petit Verdot, pomegranates, Meyer lemons, and Olives. We also raise Guinea fowl and sheep who serve not only as lawn mowers and the mobile fertilization team for the ranch but also 'go to market' and are served in some of the finest farm to table restaurants in the Bay Area.

We visited in mid-December and even though most of the leaves had fallen off the vines by then, the grounds were still beautiful! There were still autumn colors in the trees. This is a place where you make a reservation, but you honestly get a...More

We visited Tres Sabores on our first visit to Napa Valley. It was the only vineyard tour we went on and we were not disappointed! I had booked the tour in advance and communication prior to our visit was clear and helpful. Upon arrival (we...More

Tres Sabores Winery may be a little ways off the beaten path, but it's well worth the trip. We had a picnic in the shade of their lovely trees and enjoyed the sole attention of our server, Rhys. The wine was excellent, and we even...More

We became wine club members at Tres Sabores five years ago when we were last in Napa. Their wine is so smooth and delicious. The Por que no? is a favorite by far and runs $30 a bottle! It could easily sell for twice that...More

This vineyard/winery is approx 1 mile off of Rt 29 but is well worth finding. The experience and atmosphere is quiet different that that of the big wine joints - but I found it the most relaxing and enjoyable of all of the tasting experiences....More

While reading the reviews of boutique wineries in Napa, we read that the Tres Sabores winery had resident Goldens! I was greated by three lovely Goldens as I arrived. Missing my Goldens at home, this was a lovely experience. And, by the way, the wine...More

Tres Sabores was a delight to visit. We were greeted by the sweetest brigade of golden retrievers once we arrived, followed shortly thereafter by Julie, the owner. She was overseeing production that day and wasn't hosting our tour but I appreciated her introduction and welcome....More
