Ride your bicycle from the IE to Newport Beach

Safe, fairly easy ride. Just remember it's uphill on the way back to the IE. Great eateries and bars at the beach. Also easy access to venues in Anaheim. Enjoy!

The ride from Green River to the beach used to be nice. Now, portions near Anaheim Stadium reminded me of a Mad Max movie. Trash on the bike path, loose dogs, and obviously high people walking out in front of you. Something has to be done to bring this great bike path to its prior state!

I have frequently cycled on the Santa Ana River Trail for many years but since January 2017 the homeless problem has made certain sections unsafe. Not just from bike-jackings and muggings, but dazed people walking out into the bike lanes abruptly without looking. There are 200 - 300 tents near the Honda Center, Angels Stadium, through Orangewood Ave., with commensurate... More

This is a great trail. We have been plagued by construction issues in the section of the trail below Mount Rubidoux/Bonamino park areas. You can ride from there all the way to San Bernardino on a separated bike way with no car traffic. It is great great great. Quality of roadway is good with a few root caused bumps. South... More

If you are looking for a place to ride with no car traffic this is the place to ride. The Orange County section begins near the Green River Golf Course in Corona. The northern section starts near Norco near the wildlife area and goes all the way to San Bernardino. There are several important things to know on this trail.... More

I'm a frequent cyclists. I enjoy rides where there isn't too many stops. This trail is great for it. It actually extends from San Bernardino to the beach, but I primarily ride the waterman start to beginning of norco and back. It's about 40 miles. There are a couple bathrooms on the trail and fewer water fountains. So pack accordingly.... More

My husband and I ride here at least once a week and love riding in the safety of this bike trail. We start in San Bernardino and usually ride to Riverside and back which is about 23 miles. You can ride as far as Corona, ride on the street for about 7 miles, then get back on the trail at... More

This awesome trail is about a 3-5 minute walk from the Double Tree by Hilton. We walked several miles each day. Loved it.

Let me share a story. Being a avid hiker one of the first things I did when I moved to Anaheim was get online and check out good places to hike. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Santa Ana River Trail was very near my house. I had visions in my head of walking along a dirt trail shaded... More

We can't begin to count the number of times we have ridden this bike path along the river, often from Huntington Beach to the lovely park in Yorba Linda or vice versa. The park has a lake, fishing, paddle boats and 5 km of hiking. Perfect day excursion
