We had the best site in the whole campground. Don't want to say the number because it is already almost impossible to reserve. The weather was beautiful a little cloudy the first day and then clear and sunny! Camping, overlooking the ocean, in the 60's in November, I am in heaven.

Took the family here twice. Kids had fun making mountains of the pebbles and rocks they found. Water was relatively calm late in the afternoon. We came back the next morning and the waves were stronger along with the tide being higher. Sand was soft enough for kids to dig holes. Onsite bathrooms. There's a play area for kids including... I go usually at least weekly, very chill place. Also some good food around 😘 We love the Crepe place across the street from the pier.... Casanos Italian is really good also..... Fishermans has a awesome view, as it is on the pier..... just a great mellow place to go hang out.

We've been going to this beach for the last five years when we discovered it. It is clean, parking is close and inexpensive, free after 5pm. It's close to the pier. It's not a long walk to he water from the sand. Awesome sunsets!

Close to our hotel. Clean. Waves were constantly beautiful and surf able. Not crowded, birds were fun. No seashells but nice comfortable sandy beach with room for many. Best sunsets. Pay to park but showers and snack bar are a perk. Lifeguards trucked up and down beach often.

I love San Clemente State Park! Camp Ground is always busy. Easy access to beach and beach trail. Beach Trail ideal for bike rides jogging and walking. Beautiful views close to top surf locations!

We didn't stay long, but my husband and I sat for an hour watching the waves and listening to the ocean. The train went by periodically which didn't bother us at all. The beach was clean, and we would definitely return.

After reading some reviews I thought it was going to be quite rocky, but it wasn't at all. It's a very nice beach with a train crossing right next to the beach. There are a lot of families that come here.

The beach connected to the State Park is awesome! It can get crowded in the summer, but as soon as summer is over... the crowds wash away with the tides...

A beautiful picturesque beach. Bring a picnic lunch, or if there's no time for that there are LOTS of lovely places to eat within easy walking distance. There is a nice walking trail, leashed dogs are welcome There is still plenty of sun
