I travel with a travel trailer and the campground has full hook ups in drive thru sites. So water, electric, and sewer are available. Sites are spaced adequately. The non paved areas are dirt. No grass and no irrigation for grass. Place can be dusty....More

Good place with lots of room either close to the pier or away - north or south. They have seating areas with barbecue/fire pits and a walk way that runs about 4 miles along te beach and train tracks. Excellent plus you have Fishermans right...More

This is a really great locals beach. Tons of kids and young families. Awesome to see so many people out recreating. No dogs allowed.

Camp right on the beach in Southern California. The price is only $35 but to make reservations you have to book on reserve America website. Also book well in advance in the summer or any weekend as they fill up fast.

First time visitor. Large (pay) parking lot. Cross the tracks to the beach. You could walk on the beach or the trail for miles in either direction. The pier is about 3/4 mile north from here. Restrooms.

Not too inviting for a day at the beach on a blanket. More of a natural (read unattended) swath of course sand and rocks. Even Nebraska has better sand.

I don't remember any signs or mentions in the park's brochures about pool floats, so I believe that you can enjoy your use of pool floats during your stay.

Yes dogs are allowed on the beach trails and also the salt creek beach trail in Dana Point. Most beaches are somewhat dog friendly (Google rules and look for signs) to some degree in the OC. Officially off leash dog beaches... More
