I found this beach on internet, I read the yelp reviews, and then I decided go to this beach today. When I was driving all the way from San Jose, I was expecting the "friendly welcome" as described in the 5 star reviews. But I ended up with a lesson that you cannot rely on the information from the internet.... More

I love going to this beach in the Summer. It's about an hour drive for me so when I don't have to work I head down. The drive down US 1 is beautiful and so is the beach. I always bring a beach tent because as much as I love the beach I don't love sitting in sunlight all day... More

This is the place to enjoy nature while being au natural. The beach is big enough that you usually have your own space. The ambient is friendly and laid back. I have been here several times and always try to get here when I am in SF. We came November 1 and got lucky with fantastic weather - but don't... More

My wife and I visited the beach for the first time at the beginning of October and had a wonderful day. Lovely sunny day and not at all crowded. Parking is so easy and you are on the beach in just a few minutes. Will definitely return.

Great place for sitting and watching/listening to the surf and smelling the sea air above the ocean. During low tide, you can go out on the beach.

Usually not too crowded. Limited wading. Swimming isn't advised. A nudist area was an option when I last visited.

Your are obviously a troubled individual. I have been going to this beach with its "creepy cowboy owners" for over 15 years. I have NEVER had a problem with them or the gay men on the beach. Usually, it's the rare straight pig who wanders up being gross. The owners are unfailingly polite, always friendly and have never approached any... More
