My room was not ready near the convention center so I had 4-5 hours to kill and this was one of the things that was rated high to go see. It was worth the walk of 35 minutes to get there which felt safe as I walked it. The garden is free and well designed. I assume the drought has... More

This is one of my favorite places to visit in the area. It is beautiful and quiet, even when there are lots of others visiting. The ONLY detractor is that there are a couple of steep, though short, hills. These are easy to navigate for most people but difficult for people in a wheelchair or a walker. Unfortunately there is... We cute park, I actually like this one more than the one in SF, and it's free! My boyfriend and I had a nice relaxing picnic. Very nice picture place, I saw a few prom photos going on. The koi fish are huge! They have some cute ducks, geese and some other birds? There's a zoo near by, that we... More

I went here on the suggestion of a friend and I am so glad that I did. This garden is so tranquil and beautiful. It has the red bridge that is so typical of a japanese garden, as well as many water features, winding walking paths and japanese statues. I could have spent hours there, and I would have had... This is a Japanese garden which is part of the Kelley park area, but is separated from the main park by hedges. Entrance the garden is free, but for the Kelley park area there is a day parking fee of $10. The garden is beautiful and kept carefully in good condition. A very nice place to get some piece and... My wife and I stopped here for something to do before leaving SJC. I'd call myself a manly man but this was quite pleasant and relaxing. Parking cost $6 but after the visit I feel it's quite worth it. Granted it was a Monday and there were only a handful of people there. But from the well maintained garden atmosphere... More

The only bad thing is parking is not free. I was born in SJ and hate this aspect. Usually walk here after a day at Happy Hollow. Feb sometimes has the trees blossoming too but the most striking months are usually March and April. Still, do not be fooled this small park is spectacular year round. If you want to... More

Nicely maintained, peaceful little park. Worth a visit if you're in the area. I believe the tea garden has opened up for special events.

Such a lovely hike through this garden, unfortunately I went there during winter the cherry blossom and most of the other flowers haven't blossomed yet, but I surely enjoyed the hike alone. Peaceful and beautiful!

I absolutely loved this Garden. I ended up going on a morning where it was raining, but it cleared up really quick (why I loved California so much). I was able to enjoy all of the scenes. The Koi fish are huge and gorgeous, and they will let you feed them. There were a lot of children that day, and... More
