Roses are beautiful

A walk through the rose garden is so romantic. My husband loves to go through it with me. Sitting around the fountain.

great city park, maintained by volunteers that keep the roses in top condition. Popular with graduation and wedding photography. Enjoy the colors and fragrance.

Beautiful vibrant colours . There are variety of flowers . The garden is not very huge but it definitely is worth a visit whenever you have some time in hand and want to explore the nature in the city of San Jose.

We visited here hoping to see roses but alas still too early to see them bloom. Regardless, the park is beautiful and a wonderful place to visit relax meditate or just sit and and enjoy nature.

This extensive and well-tended garden sits in a lovely neighborhood of San Jose, and you can picnic in the adjoining park. A huge variety of roses awaits you, and those inside the iron fence are meticulously labeled. I have walked here many times and also attended a wedding this venue--which provides an excellent backdrop for a joyous occasion.

The last time I visited was the first of April last year. I had just had a complete hip replacement and really needed to get out and smell the fresh Spring air. The scene was surreal. The rose bushes were incredibly tall and so thick and full with beautiful scented roses - one could hardly see over the top of... More

Even in its "low" season there are still delights to be discovered. I make it a point to come here all year round when visiting San Jose. It's restorative, in a lovely neighborhood, and I never miss a chance to stop by whether for an hour or just ten minutes.

Picturesque background for photos. Unbelievably packed during Prom Season as it's the popular choice for photo shoots. Only drawback is that since it is located in a residential neighborhood, parking is at a premium. The streets are narrow so limousines struggle to make the turns or even park while the kids are taking pictures.

I visited in February as I was in the vicinity and obviously there were no flowers but if I can get back in spring and/or summer I can only imagine that it will be spectacular. Even in winter I felt I could almost smell the roses! Parking free on the roadside. Hopefully I can give it 5 stars when I... More
